About the Concert

We know that many of you have a special love for this piece and associate it with our group. It didn’t seem right to go forward with an event that so many of you were looking forward to, but would have been reluctant to attend. With this in mind, take heart: we are planning to present the St. Matthew Passion soon. More about that in a couple months when we release the details of our 2020–2021 season. All of us in Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers hope you and your families will stay happy, healthy and safe in the coming weeks as this situation develops, and that you will find ways to keep great music in your lives. It’s going to be a difficult time, and we will all be called upon to make our own sacrifices for the benefit of our community, particularly those who are most vulnerable.
